MERRY CHRISTMAS

hey friends,
well as you can tell i have not kept my promise to update my blog more frequently. lets see what has happened since i wrote last time.
Micke and I bought a house and are moving in this week or next week(not finalized yet). I am still working in the hospital and loving it!Other then that, nothing new since the summer.
I hope all of you had/have a wonderful Christmas. Here in sweden we celebrate on the 24th so I got all my presents yesterday! We always say that we arent gonna buy eachother anything, yet every year there are tons of presents underneath the tree, and it was the same yesterday! I spent the whole day with my family-mom,dad,johnny and my grandma. micke spent the day with his family and then we met up at home late last nite!
today I am working and then tonite I think we are going to our friends, helena and marcus' house!

Hello

Hey guys,
well i know ive been really bad at writing on my blog this whole summer but i promise to get better! I have just been working so much i havent had time to write anything- but I promise I will try to update it more often. Things are still great at work. New and exciting things happening everyday.
Somthing not so fun is that one of my friends died in a motorcycle accident 2 weeks ago, wednesday so tomorrow i am going to his funeral- he had just turned 30- what a waste!! So i took tomorrow off and I hope the sun is shining all day!!

Micke and I are going to Smögen this weekend which is a really nice place here along the coast- a little summer city on an island to be exact! Its actually the only weekend we have had together all summer since I dont have any vacation time, so I'm really looking forward to it! We're staying at a nice hotell and we're just gonna hang out together all weekend!!

Hey guys,
so i'm on my 3rd week of working and I'm loving it. I have tons to do and the days fly by! Its hard sometimes to find the time to do everything and some of my patients are pretty sick..but im doing my best and Ive already gotten a lot of praise from my co-workers and my boss!
Hope the rest of you are having a great summer. This week has been totally rainy and sucky!
Last friday was Midsummer which is a holiday here. We celebrate by sitting outside and having a nice dinner, playing games and drinking. We had a relatively calm midsummer this year. We celebrated with my friend Åsa and her boyfriend Tommy. We ate good food and then we played games outside and ended the night with a long poker game! Went to bed about 430 in the morning. then on sat. we woke up about noon- had lunch went home adn took a shower and then it was off to the bar to watch the world cup sweden-germany, where we unfortunately got our asses kicked!! So now I am rooting for Argentina- Brazil in the final.
other then that nothing new in my life. I will post some pics soon I promise.

UPDATE

hey guys,
sorry i havent written in a loooooooong time, but i've honestly been so busy I have forgotten about the blog!!
So where should i start. Well after I finished my internship we had a lot of stuff to finish up in school. We had the big final test which covered everything we've studied for the past 3 years. I passed it and I was really happy about that.
May 27th was my 27th b-day-YIKES!. I celebrated with my girlfriends bbq and then going out. Our boyfriends were off on a trip to norway over nite so we took the opportunity to do something fun without them. My boyfriend got me a really nice digital camera for my b-day and graduation present so I will be posting some pictures soon!!
Then on May 30th we had our graduation party. It was awesome. My friend Johanna and I were voted to be toastmasters at the party which was nice- i was a little nervous before but after a few glasses of wine it went off without any problems!
June 2nd I finally graduated. First there was a ceremony at the church that only our closest family attended. Then after that we all went our separate ways. My parents threw me a huge party with food, cake and lots of beer and wine. Over 50 people attended my party which was such an honor...friends and family. We had set up a party tent in the backyard where we partied all nite! it was great!
Then june 4th-6th I went to Copenhagen, Denmark with two of my classmates Mia and Johanna. We stayed at a really nice hotel and just hung out having fun. We did some sightseeing and shopping but mostly we just relaxed- ate really good food out in the sun and drank a few beers!
This past wednesday(7th)i started working at the hospital! its really exciting but at the same time scary!so thats what ive been up to!

PARIS

Hey everyone,
so this is gonna be a long one for you to read, but I hope you take the time anyway. SO, last weekend we went to Paris. When we got there on Thur nite we went to the hotel first, changed and then went out for dinner. We found this awesome little Indian place, with excellent food. It rained a little bit that nite, but not much.
On friday we got up early. We bought metro(subway) tickets and headed to the Arc d'triumf. It only took 15min to get there with the metro. It wa absolutely amazing. Then we took the metro down to the eiffel tower, where we went up to the 2nd floor first and had lunch. Then we went all the way to the top!! It was absolutely breathtaking. Whichever way you looked you couldnt see the end of the city- and everything was so pretty! After that we went to a cafe and hade some wine. we sat outside in the sun and just enjoyed. then we took the train to Notre Dame. That was by far my favorite place- Breathtaking. Walking in there almost brought tears to our eyes- it waws absolutely amazing. Then on friday nite we went out to dinner on the Champs e'lysee. On sat. we went to the other church, Sacre Couer. The sun was out again so we brought lunch, bread cheese n wine and sat on the steps and ate. then we went shopping on Champs e'lysee. I bought a really awesome jean jacket. Then we went to Planet hollywood during happy hour and had some drinks. Then out to dinner. then we went home on sunday nite. ALL in all, it was a wonderful weekend and Paris is soooooooo beautiful!! Definitely a place everyone should see!!

I GOT A JOB!

Hey Guys,
well yesterday I finally decided between the two jobs, and i chose the one in surgery!! I will be working full time starting june 7th- sep 3rd, and then I'll have to see if I can get something permanate in the fall, which i'm hoping for!! But for now, I'm glad that I have a job as soon as I'm done with school- Looking forward to it!
other then that, I started my last internship this week. I am in a geriatrics rehab clinic. There's not a lot to do there, as far as practical things like taking blood tests etc., but It's still super busy. Geriatrics Rehab are mostly patients with some for of amputation that are in the hospital for training. I also have some patients with severe heart problems that are in the hospital for pain management, which I take care of. So, its fun and i like it, but it's not something i'd like to work with long term!
Tonite im going to my friend Johannas house for a dinner party which will be fun!
Also, Jason and Courtney are getting married today at 2pm, so CONGRATS!!! WISH I COULD BE THERE!!
